backup plan

A found footage film where I am the main character in found footage point of view that is similar to the Blair witch project. It would follow similar events of the video already made. But since I am the character, I have to act confused yet cool with what's happening. While exploring the newly found location, trying out the different doors makes me question the reality and severity of the situation.

location (code: malfunction gateway movie)

Locations that will be used for filming will be my house will be used as it is easy to get the footage needed. My house is easy to set up since I know the run around and it has a lot of doors. That is crucial to the making of the movie for my movie needs to focus on doors. And if I need to use a green screen for something, there is one available for usage for my movie. Stairwells from parking lots can also be a good place to film as the dim lighting and creepy atmosphere is perfect for the type of tone that can be used for the film. It also helps with the found footage atmosphere creating a sense of illusion and figment of reality for a showcase of something like a door leading to an infinite stairwell. Another place is the beach as it explores the world and is a random location that was decided by the actress in the film and the director. Last place is an ally way for a chase scene as it brings more creepy vibes that are needed for this film. The locations impact the story being told ...

Camera shots: a high-angle shot looking down at Georgie, followed by a dramatic close-up when he encounters Pennywise in the drain (also including establishing, high-angle, close-up, dutch angle, tracking/dolly, medium) Editing techniques and the tone, mood or meaning: juxtaposition of scale, practical effects, camera movement and the lens choice. The tone is pure dread and horror sound techniques: low-frequency rumbling, abrupt silence-to-noise jumps, and distorted, unnatural audio, which build terror, simulate panic, and highlight the supernatural violation of reality mise-en-scene: the iconic bright yellow raincoat on Georgie (color contrast against grey, rainy, desaturated surroundings), the intimate, domestic setting of a child's room transitioning into a dark, stormy, isolated storm drain, and the use of the red balloon as a menacing prop production: on-location & set combination, practical effects & puppetry, camera and lighting, in-camera effects, logistics & ...
