How did you integrate technologies- software, hardware, and online- in this project?

Explain different types of tools and technologies helped you throughout the project: I used a cam-corder to be my camera to capture this project with the help of a tripod set up to capture some shots that aren't tracking. I also used Adobe premiere pro to edit the movie and have pix-abate to give the sound effects and music needed for this project. 

Explain the usefulness of You Tube tutorials and internet research: Internet research helped for showing me some media in horror that gave me the inspiration for this project. With a lot of the inspiration coming from the You Tube series called the backrooms with it having its own movie soon.

Explain how did you learn to use hacks and DIY throughout the project: The costumes were DIY for this film, mainly through the monster since it is a old Halloween costume that I had back in middle school, and so I made my mother wear it and she became the monster in my film.

Explain you evolution of camerawork- from cell phone's camera to the advanced options and possibly including DSLR, Mirror-less, Go Pro, etc.: I started out the project originally with the use of my phone and felt it wasn't capturing the level of cinematography that was needed for this project. So I upgraded to a cam-corder to capture a more so found footage vibe that would be needed for this film so it looks at time like its a pov and allows you to be immersed into the world that this project takes place in.

Explain the problems and technical limitations you faced throughout the project and how did you fix them: There wasn't really any limitations or problems that was to happen, it was more so coming up with a structured story on how to film and in what way.

Explain how did you explore different ways to upload and share your final product with the targeted audience as well as the general audience: To immerse the audience with this project, I have created a poster and a website with a door game on it to explore with one of the doors having a jump scare death caused by if you open the door with a static tv behind it.

location (code: malfunction gateway movie)

Locations that will be used for filming will be my house will be used as it is easy to get the footage needed. My house is easy to set up since I know the run around and it has a lot of doors. That is crucial to the making of the movie for my movie needs to focus on doors. And if I need to use a green screen for something, there is one available for usage for my movie. Stairwells from parking lots can also be a good place to film as the dim lighting and creepy atmosphere is perfect for the type of tone that can be used for the film. It also helps with the found footage atmosphere creating a sense of illusion and figment of reality for a showcase of something like a door leading to an infinite stairwell. Another place is the beach as it explores the world and is a random location that was decided by the actress in the film and the director. Last place is an ally way for a chase scene as it brings more creepy vibes that are needed for this film. The locations impact the story being told ...
