 How does your project use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

Explain your product: My product is a movie or story that focuses on curiosity and the consequences that people have with issues of whether they could but not think about whether they should, sorta like the creation of the dinosaurs in Jurassic park franchise. The whole thing is that curiosity leads us to our own downfall and that we need to be safe with what our curiosity leads us to bring

Social issue/group and why did you choose it: women are normally portrayed as helpless individuals in horror media and I wanted to go against that by showing how the main character is not afraid of what danger lies ahead and letting her courage guide her.

Explain your research of codes and conventions to showcase social issues/groups in film: I decided to use a cam-corder to help give a unnatural feel for horror that makes it rem-anise to found footage and goes back to analog horror, to help show that there's something off with what's happening.

Explain how you followed or challenged conventions of: (-casting -locations -props -makeup -camerawork -editing -lighting -sound) I challenged the conventions like casting by casting people that are close to me and are willing to help me on the project or not even doing any makeup to my cast sense everything is natural and I wanted to give that sense of feel of authenticity.

Explain your storyboard layout and inspiration: My inspirations for this type of horror is found in films like the backrooms or weapons where its horror and a mystery at the same time during the film, with a vibe that gives unnatural horror that can be seen in stranger things.

Explain your representation of social issues or groups: The representation being shown is here from the main character being a female, as they are normally the main character during a horror movie and that they are normally the ones that survive, if they are to be the main character.

What exactly did you try to showcase through your film and why: I tried to showcase a story about a girl who hears static and is brave enough to follow that static even if it will inevitably lead to death. This is to say the you should be careful when your curious.
