How does your product engage with audiences, and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

Explain how you chose your genre and the types of audiences that your genre appeals to: Horror has always been something that I have shown an interest in ever since I was young. Which is ironic because I am a big chicken when it comes to scary stuff. The older I have gotten, the less scared I have become, and it has shaped more into curiosity about the genre. As a fan, it has given me so many ideas inspired by other iterations of horror. It's really nice for it to also have that sense of mystery, which allows for more entertaining horror in my opinion since I grow fond of movies with a plot rather than a psycho killer.

Discuss research on audience theories and try to relate your product with them—especially reception theory, participatory culture, cultivation theory, and the hypodermic needle theory: The way that audiences consume media is through promotional teases and build-up hype. This can be found in trailers, posters, and sometimes a little interactive website. This can go on to affect how people take the reception theory with their own beliefs of how a story is made through film with their own perspectives on the outlook.

Explain your plans to distribute your product to the targeted audience (including marketing): I plan to make my movie more immersive, where it can have all the normal stuff found in movies, like a poster and an app and/or game that is able to allow people the same hype that fans of 

Explain how you would try to maximize the circulation of your product to the audience: The way to try to maximize the circulation is to have a deal with a big studio. From there, we can mass market the project and make it appealing to mass audiences. Mainly to the audiences that want to see a horror project like this one, along with creating some merchandise to go with it to help build up some representation from the fans.
